What Makes MediCell PRF Different

Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is the evolution of PRP.

Prepared in our specially designed MediCell PRF Tube without anticoagulant, MediCell PRF is spun at a lower speed and time than traditional PRP — forming a three-dimensional platelet-rich fibrin matrix that acts as a natural biofiller.

The matrix creates a scaffold for healing and delivers a sustained release of growth factors — including PDGF, TGF-β, and VEGF — over a period of up to 14 days from preparation.

How MediCell PRF Compares to PRP

PRP is prepared with a high G-force, faster spin and remains in liquid form throughout treatment. Each tube yields approximately 4–5mL, and the resulting concentrate is injected via needle or mesotherapy. Because growth factors are released immediately and rapidly, PRP is best suited to full face and neck treatments, larger areas of hair loss, and applications in orthopaedics and gynaecology.

PRF is prepared at a lower G-force and a slower spin time, yielding a smaller volume of 1.5–2mL per tube. It begins as a liquid and then forms a gel, creating a fibrin matrix that releases growth factors gradually and sustainably — up to 14 days from preparation. Cannula injection is recommended, and PRF is best suited to areas requiring augmentation (as a natural alternative to dermal filler), dental surgeries, and smaller areas of hair loss.
